Tell a girl she’s pretty, and she won’t believe it. Tell her she’s ugly and she will believe it forever. Girls are sometimes funny and hard to understand, but they are always cute and interesting to look at. Girls may keep a diet for weeks, counting every calorie they eat, and then one day just buy a bucket of chocolate ice cream and eat the whole thing in half an hour. Girls may collect money for a month, to buy a pricey Christmas gift for a boyfriend, and a couple days before December 25^th just walk into a mall, and spend all they’ve got in their wallet on a pair of beautiful underwear.

There is one common thing about all women - they are ready to do anything to get men’s attention. Any girl would become more self-confident, therefore feel more self-satisfied, and accordingly be happier if she knew the opposite sex is attracted to her. To attract men, women, not even realizing it themselves, invented certain tips. They are easy to follow, and step by step, they can bring any woman to the top of her dreams. Any man will be yours, ladies, if you turn on your brains, put in some effort, and be patient.

If you have decided to make a guy fall for you, looking for ways of interaction with him would be a good start. Don’t insist too much, but don’t be afraid to take the initiative sometimes. First thing you need to do is to find out what the guy you like is into – what his interests and hobbies are, how he spends his free time, and what some places he often visits are. Now, this doesn’t mean you should be waiting for him for hours at his favorite fast food restaurant. It will be hard to convince him it was a coincidence that both of you came there at the same time. Also, if for example you have discovered that he supported Manchester United, it doesn’t oblige you on wearing red and black only. A very important tip is to be yourself. Don’t lose your uniqueness. No one is worth you changing something in yourself. A guy must accept you the way you are.

Your second aim is to become friends. Don’t show the guy how much you are into him. Just spend time together, let him discover you a little bit. Don’t rush. Trying to control him is definitely a bad idea. Guys like freedom just as much as girls do, so let him have his space.

Being self-confident will help you to feel more comfortable in front of him. Guys like well-rounded girls, so keep surprising him. Today let the guy know you play the piano, tomorrow tell him you are an art school graduate. The day after, beat him in chess. You could cook something for him too. Anything from simple cinnamon rolls to Italian chicken marsala with mushrooms and cheese would work. Show all of your talents, but try to stay modest. And remember – you are still only friends.

When you can feel an amicable relationship between you two, it’s time to try putting yourself in the guy’s place. Watch yourself from aside. Look at the situation through his eyes; this will help you to avoid misunderstandings. If a guy calls you, it doesn’t mean he is into you. You surely are not the only girl that he calls and talks to. Stay realistic, make no assumptions. If he doesn’t seem to be interested in you, don’t get upset; he is not the only guy on Earth.

If he shows initiative to spend his time with you – you are on the right path. You should detect what the guy likes the most about you and keep that up. Don’t show off, but don’t be shy either. The most common mistake girls tend to do is to concentrate on their appearance only. A man can be attracted if you’re pretty, but can be kept only if you play smart. Most guys prefer natural beauty, so don’t overdo your makeup; be sure to always smell good. Dress up so that a guy doesn’t realize how much time you spend on deciding what to wear. Nevertheless, try to look good, but keep in mind that how you act in front of him is much more important than how you look. You could practice some gestures, different smiles, and looks in front of the mirror, but don’t overact. Staying natural is important. Most guys don’t like when girls swear, so be nice and polite. Listen when he talks to you; guys love when girls respect them and pay attention to what they say.

The next step on your way to success is flirting. Now, this is very important. Flirting is an art; professionalism here comes only with practice. Flirting includes smiling a lot, complimenting him, looking down and pretending to be shy when he catches your eyes on him. Initiate physical contact - try gently touching his hand or shoulder while explaining something, or playfully slap him on the knee when he says something funny. Talk mostly to him when he is around his friends, and flirt only with him. But don’t act too desperate. A girl must be approachable, but not obviously available.

Finally, let him be the man. Don’t hesitate to ask for his help with something. Give him a chance to look cool, strong and brave in front of you; men love that. Now, if by this time you are still uncertain whether he likes you or not – stop wasting your time on him. Stay proud and respect yourself. But if there are signs of him being attracted to you – be patient. He might be just about to ask you out. Remember that guys can be shy too. Maybe he is simply waiting for the right moment. Help him to find that moment, but let him do the first step. All that’s needed from you at this stage is to be the woman whom he would want to please and do anything for. If you manage that – the guy is yours.

Keep in mind that pursuing a guy, or trying to buy him is not a good idea. Be yourself and if he is the right one he will fall for you. Beware: finding the right guy, the one who will make you happy, might take a while. So, never get upset or give up, and no matter what, believe in yourself. And until you find the right one, don’t forget about the existence of so many other things that can add some joy and happiness to your life. For instance, there is chocolate ice cream and expensive underwear, too. Of course the best would be a guy who would buy you that expensive underwear and chocolate ice cream. And even better - a guy who would do that, not asking to bake him cinnamon rolls for it.

But when it’s a matter for their happiness, women don’t despair. Indeed, they express creativity.
